There are many Dubai domestic services that many people hire like driver, nanny, maid and others because of their convenience with the low cost. The hiring of a help involves a certain level of responsibility for the employer since he should take up the responsibility of being the sponsor.  

To qualify to be a sponsor, the person has to earn the monthly income which is over AED 6,000 or which is over AED 5,000 when the employer is the one to pay for the accommodation. A family is the only one allowed to be a sponsor of a maid. 

The single people may not sponsor the maid even when they are making the money that it is required. A sponsor needs to show the adequate arrangement where he lives, and it should be a two bedroom, a large apartment or a villa.

Where to get the domestic help; the people normally use classified in the newspapers, bulletin boards or forums in the public places like community centers and supermarket and in professional agencies to get a domestic help. People may also get a recommendation from their friends.

Full time or part time; the domestic helpers are the expatriates and foreigners, they can get a sponsor and to live or work in the city. When it is on a full-time basis, a sponsor is the one to take up the responsibility with the costs of hiring a helper. 

When the help is needed part time, he should be gotten from the licensed agency that offers the helper on an hourly basis. The nannies and maids are supposed to work for only one family, or they have to work on part time basis. If this is not the case, the sponsor may risk prison or fine while the maid may also face deportation, prison, and fines.

For part-time job helpers, there are agencies which work by hiring out the maid on the hourly basis and there is a minimum of time that they have to commit to each job while the rates can be from 25 up to 40 for each hour. The agencies may also hire out the nannies at these rates.

Full-time helpers are being sponsored by the family whom they have to work with or can be sponsored by the agencies that are given an operating license. It is normally harder for the women to sponsor the maid when they are the sponsors of their family or if they live alone. 

It is legally allowed to sponsor the maid who comes from Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh. The full-time nannies or maids are also found in two types; there are the live-in nannies who lie with the family that sponsored them or live out, who have their accommodation away from the family they work for.  

When a maid lives out, the employer still has a responsibility as his sponsor. There are costs that are involved in sponsoring the main, and they are the residency visa, the medical care, and the labor card.
